Hubby asked if I would like to get a new lcd monitor. Huh, what for?

Well, his buddy is a computer technician who can get computer accessories at very cheap prices.

Dear hubby, we just forked out more than $250 for the motorbike and personal accident insurance.

Where did the money come from? Well, from our emergency funds.

So please, any extra money we have, it must go into the emergency funds first.

This is life, isn’t it? Just as I thought I could save a bit more money this  month for a microdermabrasion therapy for my wrinkles, scars and skin that has been damaged by overexposure to the sun , some unexpected expenses cropped up.

Hubby’s motorbike insurance and my personal accident premium expired last week and this week respectively.

We had to fork out $285 from the emergency funds to pay the insurance.

So any extra money I have by the end of the money has to go into the emergency funds.

Great! Hubby has banked in the first half of the car loan payment and paid the utility bills.

I am hoping that hubby is attracting more clients. Having more clients means that we have more income to pay off some personal debts borrowed from family and friends.

It’s my hope that we can settle some of the personal debts by the end of the year.

I am happy that I have found the debt repayments, utility bills, car and home loan installments and bank overdraft interest charges that I need for this month.

It’s only the 17th and I have collected enough money to pay the bills. Thank God.

I think I can relax on my patio furniture and enjoy the sunset every evening until May approaches.

Of course, I will keep on building my niche blogs and stores until it’s time to watch sunset. Work must go on to bring in more income.

Once in a while, I drop by at www.ourprayer.org and join the prayers there to pray for others.

Guess what most of the prayer requests are about? They are mostly about getting well from cancers and finding jobs to start working.

I pray that those who suffer from cancers are healed by God and those who are in need of jobs find the sales jobs, investment banker jobs or management jobs they want.

Praying for others teaches me to be grateful. I try not to complain much as I still have tuition classes and online assignments that provide me income; my debt management program that enables me to make low monthly payment to pay off my credit card debt; and I have a healthy body.

Hubby is not lucky today. I let go of my anger on him this morning.

He is now at his buddy there, not wanting to quarrel with me.

What made me vent out my anger on him? Well, for no apparent reason.

Perhaps it’s my hormonal imbalance. Having been burdened by credit card debt for so long, it’s normal to have developed hormonal imbalance, right?

My sister suggests me to use my spare money to invest in the gold coins or mutual funds she bought. No way!

I am in the midst of saving extra money as emergency funds and it hasn’t even reached my basic $1,000 goal yet.

Even if it hits the $1,000 first goal, it must remain in the savings account as my emergency funds.

I never know when I need the emergency funds. There are simply too many what if questions playing in my head that the only thing that can calm me down is knowing there is some money saved in the bank.
