Go Ahead & Buy The Inexpensive Acer Netbook Comments Off

Hubby is thinking of getting one of the inexpensive Acer netbooks next month.

He should as it is of $299.99 now, plus free shipping.

I think hubby should go ahead and purchase it since there is still money left after deducting our debt repayments, utility bills, and home and car loan installments.

Besides, I still have Google AdSense earnings and online income coming in.

Mask Wearing, Correct Diet & Intake Of Essential Vitamins Help Reduce The Risk Comments Off

My blogging pal’s family member who is undergoing treatments for Mesothelioma is so worried about A-H1N1 as he is in the high risk group.

It’s scary that the influenza A-H1N1 cases are still on the increase, right?

I think this has got to do with the fact that many still have the “couldn’t care less” attitude.

Wearing masks for protection is very important. People, especially those who have to rely on public transport such as LRT, buses and those who frequent crowded places, not forgetting hospitals and clinics where transmission is easy must wear masks.

Nonetheless, staying healthy with correct diet and sufficient intake of essential vitamins and minerals, especially Vitamin C, will boost your immune system to combat the deadly viruses in the air.

$19 Per Night For A Luxury Room? Comments Off

I came across a great travel deal online after I made an appointment with the Plano cosmetic dentist.

You see, a luxury resort of the Rancho Bernardo is offering rooms for $19 a night, if you don’t mind sleeping in a tent.

The inn boasts three pools, a spa and golf course. It typically charges more than $200 a room. But business is down.

For $19, you give up breakfast, air-conditioner, lights, sheets and even the bed.

Staff will remove the mattress and headboard and leave a small tent instead.

Oh, and bring your own toilet paper. :-)

My Online Income Arrive On Wednesday Comments Off

Oh, no! Hubby and I have only less than one hundred to survive from today until Wednesday.

I am praying that my online income arrives in my account on Wednesday to save us.

It’s all hubby’s fault. If he had put off buying the pond pumps, we would have had more cash in hand.

Wait a minute! I still have some coins and small notes accumulated in a bowl. Wuahaha, :-)

Don’t Simply Reward Your Kids With Money Comments Off

Reward Kids With MoneyWhile some parents believe it’s motivating for children to be rewarded with money for chores or good grades, the resounding advice is a definite ‘no’.

It’s not a good idea to pay children for simple chores such as putting away the dishes and sweeping the floor. Such routine chores are the basic responsibilities of every family member.

However, paying them for ad hoc chores is acceptable, provided the objective is made clear. For example, encourage them to clean their rooms during spring-cleaning, and pay them money or reward them a 3D 2N destin florida condo vacation according to how tidy their room is.

So, give pocket money with no strings attached and don’t tie it to other things like behavior, exam results, or how you feel about your child that day, or the allowance can easily become a tool to manipulate.
