So, Jake Pavelka & Vienna Girardi Break Up? Comments Off

While comparing prices for some radar detectors this morning, a blogging pal beeped me and told me she was very sad.

Initially I thought she had a quarrel with her hubby. Apparently, it’s not. She was sad because Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi broke up.

I almost fainted when I saw her message, “Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi broke up.” This pal of mine is very hooked to watching the reality dating series, The Bachelor, and following its couples’ latest moves.

Sigh, what to do? She has too much time in hand after her hubby’s recent temporary transfer to another state.

Good To Have Wealthy Siblings Comments Off

Wow, I just found out that my younger sister and her hubby’s biz was taxed almost $10,000 this year! $10k on tax. They must have made a lot of money from selling digital cameras, televisions, washing machines and motorcycles last year.

With their recent change to a new Toyota Estima, it’s for sure that they are STILL making money now. I am happy for my younger sister. Yes, I am.

Some women are so jealous about their siblings’ wealth, but I know I am not. Having wealthy siblings brings more benefits than harms to me.

My younger sister is very generous when it comes to money. She loves saying, “She who is rich should help other siblings who are less wealthy. Who knows one day she may be in need of financial help and they will help her back?”

When Is Prince William Going To Marry Kate? Comments Off

I was supposed to blog about some Branson vacation packages today, but I decided to change the topic.

I am curious and well, gossipy. Is it really a big deal if Kate Middleton was really pregnant? Why is it difficult for the royal family to accept princesses/princes’ girlfriends who become pregnant out of wedlock?

You know, I pity Kate. She has been waiting for over 7 years for commitment-phobic Prince William to propose to her.

So, when is Prince William going to marry her?

Grandma & Mom Are Gold Buyers Comments Off

I have been saving for emergency fund for quite a while, but I still haven’t hit my goal yet. The reason is that I sometimes dig into my savings when I am out of budget or when there are out-of-pocket expenses.

I think I can reach my saving goal by the end of the year provided my online income is steady and I can keep my spending habit under control.

If I can hit my saving goal by the end of the year, I think I can start saving for investment fund. I have always wanted to invest in mutual funds and buy gold eagle coins.

My grandma and mom have been gold buyers for decades, so I am hoping I can buy gold to preserve my wealth and purchasing power too.

It’s Better To Do Price/Quote Comparisons Now Comments Off

While reading an apidexin scam article just now, hubby showed me the health insurance quotes he found.

I gave him a few more insurance company websites to try and see if he could get even better quotes. It’s better to compare a few more companies now than feeling regretful in future, right?

With the convenience of internet, comparing prices, quotes and products is simply easy and time saving. Shoppers who are willing to spend some time doing price/quote comparisons are normally the ones who get to save more money.

Time To Say Thanks To God & People Whom You Love Comments Off

What a wonderful morning! The air is fresh and the birds are chirpy. All of a sudden, I feel grateful to God for blessing me and hubby.

When’s the last time you felt grateful that you have so much in life? Life is short and unpredictable, so cherish the present time and be grateful for whatever you have NOW.

Say thanks to God from time to time. Show your love and appreciation to people/family members/friends whom you love by calling them or gifting them personalized gifts more often.

Wow, why am I so sentimental today?

May Hubby Become A More Frugal Guy! Comments Off

Although I didn’t give hubby his atm card the other day, I gave him extra $200 to be kept in his wallet.

Surprisingly, he didn’t use much. I had a peep into his wallet just now while looking for his term life insurance buddy’s name card.

Not bad, there are still 3 pieces of $50 note in his wallet! Hopefully his $150 can last for another week.

How I wish he could turn from a spendthrift man to a more frugal guy! It takes two people to be thrifty in order to be millionaires, you know.
