If I Could Have A Wish Comments Off

If I could have a wish now, I would like to wish for a month long’s Orlando vacation in December.

I am tired both mentally and physically after working on a few projects for the past few months.

I should convince my boss that every employee should be rewarded with a grand holiday and an Orlando vacation is probably one of the most exciting holidays that the boss can treat every staff.

It doesn’t cost the boss an arm or leg if he picks the Orlando packages for the staff.

Shopping For Second Hand Designer Clothes? Comments Off

So happy to have grabbed a few basic tees at an urban clothing sale last night. It’s only $5 per tee!

I seldom shop for clothes. But when I do, hubby almost always agrees that I should do it more often. Of course, he says this to make himself him feel better.

Hubby really loves shopping for clothes, especially shirts. However, he has gone from buying quite expensive designer shirts to shopping for second hand designer clothes.

So far, he has bought a few second hand designer clothes that look very new at 1/3 of the retail price. What a money saving way!

Teach Your Teen Kids To Save Money, Do Budgeting & Spend Money Wisely Comments Off

Time flies! It’s a bit unbelievable that my nephew is going to be teenager soon.

He is now as tall as I am. I thought it’s my sister’s husband who was standing beside my sister the other day when I met them in the mall.

Apparently it’s my nephew who had grown so much taller. He accompanied his mom to meet me at the shopping mall to buy office supplies.

I am glad that my sister has already started teaching his eldest son on saving money. She wants all her kids to be good at budgeting, saving money and spending money wisely.

Ya, right. Don’t be like me, still loaded with tons of credit card debt. :-)

How To Save Money On Air-Conditioner Usage & Electricity Comments Off

Afternoon HeatIt’s a very hot day today! I am sitting in my air-conditioned room with it turned to full blast, but I am still sweating.

I can feel the heat making its way into the room from every crack and crevice. I am living in a more than 30-year-old wooden house, that’s why there are holes, cracks and crevices everywhere. :-)

Perhaps I should listen to hubby. Just stop whatever work or search on the best weight loss pill I am doing now and go to a nearby shopping mall to avoid the afternoon heat.

Good idea! Not only can we avoid the heat, we can also save money on electricity.

Stick To Family Budget Well Comments Off

I am happy that hubby is following the family budget I set quite well.

If he goes on sticking to the budget, I am sure that we are able to cut down on unnecessary expenses and save more money.

If coupled with making more money from selling slimming pills and baby gifts, I can expect even more money to be saved in the savings account.

It’s my hope that I can reach $3,000 by the end of the year.

To Save Money, Look For Best Deal Disney World Tickets Comments Off

Wow, my blogging pal and his family are celebrating Halloween in Orlando this October! Their trip was confirmed after they were assured that they would get the Disney World Tickets.

It’s said that Orlando is one of the perfect places to celebrate Halloween. There is the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween-Disney style party for the whole family or the Universal Studios Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights for those who want to have a horrifying Halloween at haunted houses and scare zones.

I don’t think I dare to enter any haunted house or scare zone. Thinking of being scared at every turn and by a horde of model vampires definitely sends shivers down my spine! :-)

Stop Grocery Shopping For A While Comments Off

When will I receive my online income to pay the debt repayments and utility bills?

Mmm, the end of the month! Wa…two more weeks! Fortunately, I still have extra cash in hand to survive until the 28th.

My only hope is that hubby doesn’t do any grocery shopping without my permission.

After Deducting Debt Repayments, Car & Home Loan Installments, There Is Still Money Comments Off

CashI can feel that hubby and I are getting better financially.

You see, hubby has got a full time job starting this month while my online niche blogs and stores are generating increasing sales and commissions.

After deducting our debt repayments, utility bills, car and home loan installments, meal expenses, and petrol fees, there will still be a few hundreds left for us to use or save in the bank.

Extra Money Must Go Into The Emergency Funds Comments Off

Hubby asked if I would like to get a new lcd monitor. Huh, what for?

Well, his buddy is a computer technician who can get computer accessories at very cheap prices.

Dear hubby, we just forked out more than $250 for the motorbike and personal accident insurance.

Where did the money come from? Well, from our emergency funds.

So please, any extra money we have, it must go into the emergency funds first.

There Are Post-Christmas TV Deals Offering Deep Deep Discount Deals, But … Comments Off

I must remind hubby to buy a few tv stands. One of the tv stands dropped off while I was adjusting the television set yesterday evening.

Luckily, I managed to catch hold of the television. Though there are post-Christmas TV deals that offer deep deep discounts, it’s not possible for me to get a new one.

Like I said, I want to save money for rainy days.

When it rains heavily, all banks will want their umbrellas back as soon as possible. Therefore I must have my own umbrella.
