Soooo Dead Tired Now! Comments Off

Just came back from running an errand in the town. Let me tell you, I am soooo dead tired now!

How long had I been walking from one store to another in the town? I think more than an hour! Oh, I feel that my legs don’t belong to me anymore.

What did I buy? Cleanser, corn caps, fruits, diet powder and lunch. How much for these few things? About $80. Wow, there went my $100 dollar bill!

Have To Use January’s Family Budget Money Now Comments Off

Oh, my God! It’s obvious that hubby tends to spend more money during his off days than his working days.

This afternoon, he listed what he had bought during these few days while I was updating his old resumes. I must say that I was a bit pissed off when I saw the shopping list of his.

I know for sure that we will run out of money in hand before the new year even arrives.

Argh, I hate the idea of using January’s family budget money now!

My Online Income Arrive On Wednesday Comments Off

Oh, no! Hubby and I have only less than one hundred to survive from today until Wednesday.

I am praying that my online income arrives in my account on Wednesday to save us.

It’s all hubby’s fault. If he had put off buying the pond pumps, we would have had more cash in hand.

Wait a minute! I still have some coins and small notes accumulated in a bowl. Wuahaha, :-)

Save Enough Cash To Buy A Nokia 3G Cell Phone Comments Off

When will I get a new unlocked phone? My Nokia cell phone is so old and outdated that I always leave it at home.

I want a Nokia phone that has rapid 3G connectivity with HSDPA support so that I can connect at broadband like speeds while out of the town or at my grandma’s home.

Well, I guess I have to wait until I am not so tight on budget and also have saved enough cash.

Yes, cash. I can only use cash to buy things now.

Living Frugally With Cash Comments Off

It’s a bit scary to have only some cash in hand. What if…?

What if there is an emergency? Where do I find cash?

Everything has to be paid by cash. Yes, everything! From sugar to toilet paper to hubby’s tuxedo shirt has to be paid using cash.

It’s become a habit to find the cheapest item before paying it by cash. A penny saved is a dollar earned now.

No more cash advance from credit cards. Want to have cash advance? Well, save more money.

People Use Cash More Than Credit Cards Comments Off

People are using more cash now. My sisters and some family members have told me that they dare not simply use their credit cards.

To buy big tickets like ellipticals or 42″ Plasma TVs, they will use cash they have saved up for some time.

They will not charge them into their credit cards or sign up for installments on credit cards like the old days.

This is good, isn’t? People have turned back to using cash now.

Use Cash To Buy Groceries, Home Appliances Or Christmas Gifts That Don’t Bring Financial Charges Comments Off

Thanks to my debt management program (DMP) that I can pay off my credit card debt with a lower monthly payment.

Although all my credit cards have been terminated and I can only use cash, I don’t mind. This is because using cash to buy groceries, home appliances, industrial knobs or Christmas gifts doesn’t bring financial charges or late payment charges.

Sometimes, it’s not the credit card debt that suffocates you;it’s the financial charges and late payment charges that keep aading up.
